Acknowledgement of Country

SEEK Volunteer respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which it operates. We acknowledge Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s First Peoples, paying respects to their rich cultures, to their Elders past, present and future, and their continuing custodianship of the land, waterways and community on which we all rely. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We acknowledge that contributing to their communities is intrinsic to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities have strong ideas and practices of volunteering. We recognise and value the ongoing contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities to Australian life and how this enriches us all.
