  2. Youth Programs and Events Officer

    This position is responsible for supporting the delivery of activities for young people in the Kimberley. Red Cross delivers a range of programs and activities that support and promote the social, emotional, cultural and physical well-being of youth in the West Kimberley, including after-school, in-school and holiday programs, that incorporate confidence building, drug and alcohol education, life and social skills development, positive behaviors, sports, arts and cultural activities.

  3. Computer Coding Club Mentor

    Whitford Library has a growing Coding Club called CoderDojo running on Mondays 4pm–5pm. If you have any computer programming and/or systems support experience, we are looking for mentors to encourage and guide children 7–17yrs through their personal coding projects which could be as basic as scratch or advanced as html or python. No formal training is provided. The focus is on fun and helping each other learn. In the near future, it is hoped to introduce basic robotic into the future.

    Assisting with Drama and Puppetry class or Kids Art Afternoons. Working with kids to support the director of Starlet Creative Industries to run weekly classes. Assisting kids with Arts and Craft activities. Support behaviour management plan to keep kids safe and on task during programs.
