Leisure Program Volunteer

You have the opportunity to support our members to access sport & recreation opportunities, holidays, 10 pin bowling, day trips, Bronco's games & heaps more. We provide you with the support and training required to ensure you're fully prepared for a great experience as a Life Stream Volunteer.

2018 Christmas Gift Wrapping Appeal Volunteers

We’re looking for Santa’s Helpers to assist with gift wrapping at Westfield Garden City. Various shifts are available with lengths varying from 3 to 5 hours. • Thursday December 6 - Sunday December 16; between 9am and 5:30pm. Shifts are until 9.00pm on Thursdays. • Monday 17 December – Saturday December 22; between 9am – 9pm. • Sunday 23 December; between 8am – 9pm. • Monday 24 December; between 8am – 5:30pm.

Volunteer Braille Tutor

The Queensland Braille Writing Association is seeking volunteers to teach Braille to adults who are visually impaired Monday – Friday at Braille House or on Thursdays offsite at a Community centre. If you are interested in volunteering, you would have to commit to a minimum of 4 hours a week for at least six months. If you are a qualified teacher or trainer but not in Braille, this role may still be suitable for you.
