Beyond Blindness is currently seeking people who would like to assist our team by providing reception and administrative support in a friendly and professional environment. This role will assist us to meet the increasing demand for our services.
Do you take pride in keeping a fleet of community vehicles in great condition? Are you able to work unsupervised and complete the upkeep of the vehicles? Assistance needed one or two days a week. Role is general maintenance and safety checks that include checking tyre pressure, fluid levels and cleaning vehicles inside and out.

The Volunteer Driver is responsible for the transportation of Beyond Blindness Members to various services offered by the organisation including social groups, bus trips and occasional medical/shopping trips and can include one-on-one social time. Volunteers are welcomed as part of the small team in the southern area. All volunteers are given training to assist blind persons. The Volunteer Driver will be required to use their own vehicle which will need to have comprehensive insurance.
Calling all yachties!!! Do you have an interest in sailing? Or would you like to just assist in the docking area, loading and unloading people with a disability into boats, and not do the sailing part of it? People are required to assist current volunteers, to help people with a disability to enjoy sailing in a friendly supportive environment. The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.
