We are looking at having a handful of GO's that man the phones, write emails and post on social media sites. We need you to encourage organisations, schools, pubs, clubs, etc. to get involved to help us fundraise. The only way we send our material to the Prison at Woodford where the swags are made is through money donated or fundraised. We are looking at doubling our production of swags this year and this means we need more awareness, more community groups and businesses fundraising for swags.

We are looking to increase our footprint and our services into schools, churches, rotary clubs and other corporate channels etc. Street Swags relies upon its volunteer base and in 2019 the decision has been made to focus heavily on marketing and on fundraising events. Last year we received over 12,000 orders for our swags and we only where able to produce 5000 swags. In order to make more swags we need a greater reach, more awareness and more fundraising initiatives engaged.
This day Respite Center for people with disabilities is wanting volunteers to assist with the daily activities. The activities are designed to be fun, interactive and enjoyable. Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Performing Arts, Bowling and Movies. Are you interested in joining in and assisting with the daily activities? 10am - 3 pm. Days can be negotiated. (C)
Working on production lines alongside people with a disability. You will be supporting and assisting these people to enjoy the working day and maintain production. Monday to Friday 8am-4pm days negotiated with the coordinator. (C)

You will be reporting to the Fleet Supervisor. Duties may include delivering vehicles for servicing and undertaking regular damage inspections. Currumbin Wildlife Park volunteers are stationed throughout the Sanctuary and are involved with greeting visitors of all nationalities, answering questions about animals and attractions, helping visitors to locate shows and facilities, helping the visitors to get the maximum enjoyment out of their day. An interview, trial shift, a 3 day course must be attended. If accepted into the program, volunteers must comply with the requirements set out by the organisation. Second language a bonus. (C)

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Horticultural Department manages all botanical displays throughout The Sanctuary as well as four established Eucalypt plantations to grow food to feed our collection of koalas and other herbivorous mammals each day. Volunteers are required to assist with the process of improving and maintaining our botanical displays at The Sanctuary. (C)
