You'll be welcomed into the supersized commercial kitchen. You'll get busy in the kitchen transforming rescued food into nutritious meals, that will be delivered to disadvantaged communities.

By volunteering in an aged care residential facility, you can improve the quality of life for older people who have limited contact with others and as a result are at risk of isolation and loneliness– whether for social or cultural reasons, or due to disability.
Legacy Brisbane supports widows and families of our servicemen and women. We are looking for two passionate, motivated volunteers to phone our older widows to check on well-being and needs in the Contact Centre at South Brisbane. There will also be administrative tasks attached to this role. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need to be computer literate. You will not be selling, promoting or asking for money, it is purely a curtesy wellbeing call.
