Open Sundays Coordinator for The Hut Environmental and Community Association (THECA)

We have done this for the past 2 years and there is material available to use for the new coordinator. The idea is to run activities for the public to educate them on environmental issues. Project: Tingalpa Creek Riparian Restoration

CVA will be partnering with Capalaba Rotary Bushcare Group to repair riparian zones along Tingalpa Creek by removing invasive weeds (Singapore Daisy, Mile a Minute and Madeira Vine) and replacing them with native lomandras and dianellas. Start date is January 2019 and finishing in June 2019, Monday through to Saturdays.

Revive our wetlands - weed removal volunteers wanted

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain basic plant identification skills and to learn about habitat restoration processes from start to finish.
