  3. Twilight Toadbusting in Darwin

    By supporting the Frogwatch/Biowatch organisation, we aim to help reduce and control numbers of Cane Toads in the Top End. After an informative identification session we will head out to targeted breeding sites including Lee Point, East Point, Botanical Gardens and Golflinks to collect Cane Toads ready for humane disposal.     You will have the opportunity to visit and learn about the wildlife that resides in one of Darwin's iconic Conservation Reserves. Fogg Dam provides an important food source and habitat to over 200 local and migratory bird species. Conservation Volunteers have been collecting baseline data from this lagoon of a set species list for almost two years.

    Join us to help restore ecosystems in a range of different coastal or wetlands bush blocks in Ludmilla, Casuarina Coastal Reserve, Mitchell Creek and East Point.
