Rio Tinto Earth Assist is a FREE program for school students, where you can step into the environment and contribute to real conservation projects. Participants will learn conservation skills, gain a greater understanding of our environment, and help ensure a sustainable future. For students wishing to complete community service hours and help conserve our natural environment.

The service is adjacent to and incorporates Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park: an outdoor venue designed to connect children with nature and a hub for environmental education in WA. Interaction with nature is critical for healthy childhood development. It is also the basic building block to develop children's appreciation for our natural environment.
Individuals who would like to assist in the gardening and maintainence of our native animal rehabilitation centre.
Animal carers are sought to assist with care of wildlife at the centre in Lesmurdie.
Environmental Field Workers required to help maintain grounds at Wireless Hill Park in Booragoon.
Get involved in a hands on environmental/conservation role in your local community or regional WA.
Contribute to enhancement of environment in any way possible (weeding, planting, rubbish collection).
Environmental Field Workers and Committee Members in Bicton.
Environmental activities such as tree planting, seed collecting, heritage restoration, coastal protection and environmental monitoring. Volunteers participate as part of a team on practical conservation projects and are given induction and training on all conservation tasks undertaken, along with safety training and supervision.
