    Friends of Organ Pipes are an environmental not-for-profit group who are committed to looking after Organ Pipes National Park. This is a chance to be a part of the longest bat monitoring program in Australia, and to see our native microbats up close. Bats are measured, sexed, banded and health checked. FoOPs would love your help with recording data and to make this special site a little bit better for people and animals alike. All are welcome, and no experience is required.

    Albany's Historic Whaling Station at Discovery Bay are running various activities during the Summer School holidays (8th to 25th January) and are looking for volunteers to help with kids’ craft activities. Duties will include greeting children and families, assisting with simple craft activities, supervising use of resources to ensure safety and cleaning up afterwards. Volunteers will not be left alone with children as parents will be present.

    Sugar gliders were successfully reintroduced to Organ Pipes in the 1980's. The monitoring crew use a camera on a pole to insert into nesting boxes to count adults and juveniles, to understand how the population is changing. You're *almost* guaranteed to see a cute little, furry face peering out at you! All are welcome, and no experience is required.
