    Join CDTLI this Clean Up Australia Day Sunday 4 March to remove rubbish at our Goondaloo Creek Landcare Site. We will be preventing rubbish travelling downstream into the Ross River and ultimately to the ocean and Great Barrier Reef. When rubbish is gone, nature can carry on.

  5. Tuesday Twilight Toadbusting in Darwin

    This project aims to help reduce and control numbers of cane toads in local areas of Darwin. After an informative identification session we will head out to targeted breeding sites including Lee Point, East Point, Botanical Gardens and Golflinks to collect cane toads.Please call the office (08) 8981 3206 for further information or to book in to an upcoming session.

  6. Bush regenerators - Lane Cove National Park

    Lane Cove National Park now has a thriving Bushcare Program running under the supervision of a National Parks Bushcare Coordinator. There are groups currently working on different days, from every week to once a month, and they welcome new members. Work is in the bush, removing weeds so that native plants will regenerate, improving the biodiversity of the park.

  7. Bush Regenerators - Mars Creek Bushcare Group

    This bushcare group is supported by Lane Cove National Park and Macquarie University. It meets on the third Saturday morning of each month and welcomes new members. We meet next on Saturday March 17. Work is along Mars Creek, a hidden gem of the Lane Cove National Park and involves removing weeds so that native plants will regenerate, improving the biodiversity of the park.

    Help maintain environment / tree planting /special projects. Will need some level of physical fitness and an interest in the environment. Help with maintenance at Land Care sites around town - Bush Garden, Turtle Bridge, Lou Litster and Mundy Creek. Volunteers can be accepted as young as 12 and 13. Volunteers under the age of 12 must be accompanied by parents or guardians.
