After an informative identification session we will head out to targeted breeding sites including Lee Point, East Point, Botanical Gardens and Golflinks to collect Cane Toads ready for humane disposal. Volunteers will survey a vast array of birdlife at different sites around Darwin including Fogg Dam, McMinns Lagoon, Knuckey's Lagoon and Marlow's Lagoon. You will learn bird identification skills while observing the surrounding wildlife.
