After an informative identification session we will head out to targeted breeding sites including Lee Point, East Point, Botanical Gardens and Golflinks to collect Cane Toads ready for humane disposal.   10. Erosion Control Methods in the Bioregions of Cape York

    Join us for a short-term stint on a unique, privately owned piece of paradise just 45km South of Cooktown featuring the best Cape York has to offer - Grass Plains, Wetlands, Woodlands and Rainforest combine on the property known as Kings Plains. Volunteers will be helping to install natural check dam barriers for erosion control in various gullies in the area, whilst spending the nights camping in an old miners hut under the stars.
