Mentoring Mums – Home visiting support for new mothers

Recruiting for October Mentoring Mums is a NAPCAN (National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect) award winning volunteer program where trained volunteers are matched with a mum with a baby up to 12 months of age. The volunteer develops a trusting relationship with the new mother, by visiting her in her own home, offing supportive conversation about early parenting, listening to her challenges and highlighting her strengths.
