Are you a qualified podiatrist, masseuse, physiotherapist or dentist with a couple of hours per month to spare? St. Patricks are looking for volunteers to work with homeless people at their health and oral health clinics which are run in the mornings Monday to Friday.
Roles will be varied with front of store work (register, customer service and replenishing stock) and back room work ( sorting, hanging and pricing).

Chapter Volunteers are the heart of our Chapters. At each session, Chapter Volunteers will embark on the session side-by-side with the participants, supporting them through the run or walk and engaging in positive dialogue. There is no homelessness at our Chapters – the volunteers and the participants wear the same uniform and everyone is afforded the same respect.
Run Champions are Chapter Volunteers that have been charged with an extra responsibility to assist in coordinating the running/exercise training sessions in conjunction with the Chapter Coordinator. A Chapter may have multiple Run Champions – all of whom assist with functions relating to the actual training undertaken at the Chapter.
In order to execute our Footsteps program, OMF requires a minimum stock-level of participant and volunteer uniforms. The Property Coordinator will store this stock (shirts, shorts, badges, wrist bands, socks and shoes) as well general OMF property (promotional banners and flags) at their personal residence or storage unit. The Property Coordinator will work with each Chapter Coordinator and other volunteers to organise delivery or pick up of required property.
The Big Issue Vendor Sales & Support team require additional assistance with the daily running of the Vendor Support office. An important aspect of the role is to interact with the vendors and provide them with support, direction and encouragement. The main tasks involve: Visiting vendors on pitch, Vendor reception desk and phone, Vendor breakfast preparation (once a fortnight); Chaos Reduction Officer. Tues and Thurs availability preferred. Sector experience needed.
