One of the key challenges they face is learning English, where it's difficult to find opportunities to regularly practice English with real people. A Conversation Partner uses the Chatloop messaging app (like WhatsApp) to have text message conversations with our English learners. Send just a few messages every day or two, at a time convenient to you. Positions are limited for this micro-volunteering opportunity.

    We need drivers to collect prepacked boxes of fruit and veg. You don't need to do every week, you will be a part of a team and can do weekly/fortnightly or monthly. At CARAD, we provide our clients with fresh fruit and vegetables on a weekly basis. Our clients are Asylum Seekers, who do not receive Centrelink, Medicare or any support from elsewhere. Through the Second Bite program, our Pantry provides food security for the most vulnerable people in our community.
