Do you have mentoring skills. Are you able to work with migrant/refugee primary school aged children. If so this may be the role for you. Requirements- Assisting Primary or High School children with their homework. Must be patient and empathetic towards children attempting to integrate. Must have the necessary educational, training and mentoring skills experience for this role. Hours; 1 day per week. Primary - Monday 3pm-5pm High School Tuesday/Thursday 3pm - 5 pm
English speakers wanted for "budding up" with clients with a multicultural background to help to develop oral and written English skills. Multicultural Families Organisation (MFO) are setting up beginner and advanced English learn to read and write classes. Volunteers will be interviewed and matched with clients to develop a friendly, supportive and encouraging environment.
