    SSI’s has an established donations initiative to support families, from all of its programs, with items such as children’s clothing and toys, non-perishable food, cots and prams and small household appliances. This initiative requires semi-regular pick up, drop off and sorting of donations. Donations need to be picked up by volunteers from the Sutherland Shire and dropped to locations in western Sydney.

    SSI's Women at Risk clients are women who have been identified as living, in Australia, without the protection of a male relative and have been in danger of victimisation harassment or serious abuse. Life Skills and Orientation Assistants (Community Language) support clients by offering language support, guiding access to local services, supporting attendance at orientation sessions, building their social networks, and improve their understanding of Australian cultural practices.
