  2. Migrant Appointment Support Volunteer

    Albany Migrant Resource Centre is looking for volunteers to take clients to their appointments (doctors etc.). A volunteer would need to have own transport and at times would be able to use the office car (automatic). The volunteer would also be trained to use a phone interpreter, which the doctor would also use. The position would be guided by the coordinator who will support the volunteer in this role. An interest in (or understanding of) migrant issues would help greatly.
