We have a number of volunteering positions available and would love to hear from you. Key tasks: • Customer Service at front door and on the floor • Provide visitor information and assistance in how to explore Newstead House • Ensure all visitors feel welcome and informed
Welcoming the public into Mayes Cottage and providing general information to visitors. Volunteers work Thursday, Friday or Saturday on a roster at the historical house providing general information to visitors about the Mayes family who resided there. An interest in local history is desirable. Approximately 3 hours per week (shifts 10:00am-1:00pm or 1:00pm - 4:00pm)
The role centres around on coordinating marketing functions and activities within The Royal Historical Society of Queensland and the Commissariat Store Museum. It will involve building the Museum and the Society's profile through marketing communications and engagement of current and potential audiences and members.
