Volunteer Gardner/Handyman

As a gardener/handyman volunteer you will be assisting in keeping the grounds of Franklin House in great order - mowing lawns, tending shrubs and tidying up leaves, etc. Duties as a handyman may include - window washing, general repair work, e.g. tighten handles, touch-up painting plus other duties as required. Volunteer Hospitality Staff - Franklin House

Just a short drive from Launceston CBD, Franklin House is a house museum. Franklin House is also available for hire for private events such as weddings or corporate events; and there are a variety of special events throughout the year including weddings and our Christmas Carols and Cake events. As volunteer hospitality staff you may be required to assist in the Tea Room and Gift Shop, assisting with visitor information and be asked to assist with special events.
