Compare Therapies promotes therapeutic approaches for all of the mentally, emotionally and behaviourally challenging personal, interpersonal and social difficulties the we all have to deal with at various times in our lives. The focus is to resolve those issues naturally and effectively, and importantly, to do so by prioritising lasting natural healing and enabling growth.

The Change Your Past Foundation, through its core Compare Therapies project, seeks to foster the establishment a positive focus, one that promotes direct access for everyone to effective therapeutic treatments that have the capacity to assist us to actually resolve issues in these areas of our lives.

The CHANGE YOUR PAST Foundation is a registered community charity in Australia. We believe improved ‘accessibility’ and ‘accountability’ is the key leverage to bringing effective therapeutic assistance to people who need it.

We are continually in the process of collecting modalities worldwide that actually heal people from their mental disorders, and documenting their peer-reviewed published validation studies. On top, we subsidise or fund the best treatments to those that cannot afford them, because when people experience mental disorders, they often lose their job or the capability to take financial care of themselves and their families.

You may have seen those funny meerkat ads in the TV promoting the “Compare the Market” website. We are in the process to create the “Compare Therapy” website. Whilst we have the facts, the articles and the speakers and experts with credentials, we lack the expertise and contacts to get it out into the world of media. That’s where you will come in.

You will advise us how to promote the website and the top therapies through the media you are an expert in (TV, print, or social), so that our press releases, articles & blogs, interviews and events are well-presented and well-distributed. Whilst you will be supported by a friendly team of writers and mental health experts, you will be the driving force to make sure that those that are experiencing mental health issues as well as their carers know about the solutions available for them.

We are looking for a Media Expert with a minimum 5 years’ experience and who has professional English writing skills. It would be good if the person has entrepreneurial flair and experience in a start-up organisation. Team engagement, communication, participation, initiative, creativity and achievement skills are important to us.

CHANGE YOUR PAST Foundation is being developed along the lines of a TEAL organisation where the emphasis is shifted to self-initiated and self-managed contributions by all members working independently and also at the same time in closely networked collaboration both in focussed collegiate cooperation on specific tasks, and also, being productively engaged broadly across the enterprise. Expected of everyone is the ongoing demonstration of active self-developed initiative in achieving valued outcomes that contribute to the overall purpose of the organisation.

We don’t need to point out the responsibility that comes with this position and the trust we would place in you. You would work from where-ever you want, being connected with the whole team via phone or video-conferencing when-ever required. We do not ask you to commit to or for a specific time, but we ask you to deliver results.

Geographic location isn’t important to us. You don’t need to be based in Victoria or Australia for that matter. And the more countries you can open up, the better, because we have a global vision.
