MSWA Ocean Ride – Event Assistant

The MSWA Ocean Ride on Sunday, 25 November 2018, is a unique cycling event, which raises vital funds and awareness for people with living with MS and other neurological conditions here in Western Australia! Participants can choose from several distances, from 10km to the challenging 100km. Leaving from Fremantle, our cyclists will follow the course along the beautiful coastline to the Hillarys finish line at Whitford Nodes. We are seeking early risers to help on our start line in Fremantle.

When the MSWA Ocean Ride hits the streets this November, it will mark its 9th year. This is a unique cycling event, with participants choosing to ride up to 100km along our beautiful Western Australian coastline. This event raises much needed funds and awareness for people living with MS and other neurological conditions here in Western Australia. Riders will head off from the start line in Fremantle and follow the coast to finish in Whitfords Nodes, Hillarys.

Primary School Morning Exercise Group Volunteers

On My Feet assists those at risk of or experiencing homelessness through exercise. We help transition participants to self-sufficiency and promote self-belief and self-worth. Committed participants may be referred to our partners to assist with employment, housing and mental and physical wellbeing. Our intention behind establishing a morning exercise group for primary school students, is to encourage a healthy lifestyle from a young age and help to prevent homelessness in future generations.

Befriend Event Host

Our mission is to break the barriers and social rules that get in the way of making diverse friendships happen. As an Event Host, you are the one planning and hosting the events of the Network, that create the opportunity for Members to connect. Organise one small social gatherings each month (average event size 6-20 people) in your area of interest, at a time and location convenient to you.

Get involved in this year's Chevron City to Surf for Activ, WA's largest most loved sporting event, raising important funds for the Active Foundation! We need people to volunteer as Road Marshals for the event being our eyes and ears on the course. Watching the runners and cheering them along as they complete the 42km, 21km, 12km or 4km events. As volunteers, you'll be positioned along the course.
