MALA is a Western Australian organisation intended to provide opportunities for people to expand and enrich their knowledge in a friendly, social environment. It is for those who recognise that learning is a lifelong process, desire to keep their minds active and would like to find some practical ways to do so. MALA provides learning experiences in a relaxed environment. Every year since 1980 in the Perth area (more recently in Mandurah - the Peel District - and in Rockingham) we have sponsored stimulating educational studies for mature people. During that time thousands have enjoyed our programs. Short courses are held once a week over two ten week semesters each year. Lectures are based on an exceptionally wide range of topics delivered by experts in their various fields.
