Bicton Men's Shed (Supported by Volunteer Melville!)

Bicton Men's Shed 1 Carrington St Palmyra , WA 6157 Bicton Uniting Church has found a new use for its shed which encourages creativity and fellowship at the same time. The Men’s Shed project was launched in early June by Rev Ken Williams, moderator of the Uniting Church in Western Australia. Men’s Shed is a community project which provides a space for men to come together to share both their handiwork skills and each other’s company. Working alongside the Attadale Rotary Club, Bicton Uniting Church has been able to fit out a shed on their property with a range of woodworking tools which men can use to make just about anything they like. They are also hoping to set up a second shed that could be used for metalwork. Rev Mike Fawcett, minister at Bicton, said the project has been widely supported
