Jandakot Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade is located in the suburb of Banjup which is part of the City of Cockburn. Your brigade is made up of local volunteers who respond to 000 emergency calls 24/7 365 days a year. Using our local knowledge we also conduct bush fire mitigation works for the City of Cockburn (including private land owners) which includes hazard reduction burns that are tailored to reduce the fuel loading which contributes to extreme bush fire behaviour. Your brigade also provides community engagement and awareness including PR events and bush fire preparedness workshops for local residents. We also respond to incidents around Western Australia and the nation.
