Junior AFL Boys/Girls Club Kawana Park Eagles is a junior football club, which provides a quality environment for the purpose of fun, participation and development of the skills of Australian football The Kawana Park Eagles was founded in 2001 by Peter Phelan and Luke Curran. The club was then known as the Chancellor Park Eagles. The club entered the Sunshine Coast Junior League in 2002. As it grew it relocated to Chancellor Park State School and the University of the Sunshine Coast. In 2006, with the addition of an Under 14 team the club was relocated to Kawana State College. This move instigated a name change for the club and was officially renamed in 2009 to the ‘Kawana Park Eagles’.
