Connect Health & Community (formerly Bentleigh Bayside Community Health) provides a variety of health and social services across South East Metropolitan Melbourne. Primary health services are currently across the Local Government Areas of Bayside and the southern part of Glen Eira. Volunteers may assist in a variety of roles - community transport - bus drivers, driver's assistants or car drivers using Connect Health vehicle or their own vehicle, assist with hydrotherapy program in the water or at the pool side (at East Bentleigh site or Hampton East), assist staff in Social Support Groups for frail, older people and/or those who have a disability, assist with strength training, mobility and gentle exercise groups, tai chi, walking groups, maintenance including gardening, health promotion or participate in the Auxiliary with fundraising.
