Parkinson's Victoria-BVRC

Parkinson’s Victoria raises awareness and funds for services and research that improves the quality of life for 27,000 people living with Parkinson’s in Victoria. Every day through our multi-disciplinary health team we provide information, education, advice, and peer support services to improve the life of the Parkinson’s community. Our support extends to those living with Parkinson’s, their families and carers, peer support groups and health care professionals. Parkinson’s Victoria runs nearly 80 Peer Support Groups across metropolitan, regional, and rural Victoria. They provide an invaluable opportunity to learn more about living with Parkinson’s and to connect with like-minded people. Peer Support Groups are spaces for sharing information about local Parkinson’s resources and mutual support. Parkinson’s Victoria has a website, a YouTube channel, is on Facebook and regularly holds Living Wellness webinars, Ask the Expert seminars, Educational seminars, and Support Group meetings all online.
