The STRIKE OUT STROKE vision is - To enhance awareness and promote early recognition of the symptoms of stroke and B.E. F.A.S.T. for treatment. To raise funds for research and support services for those affected by stroke. Partnered with Softball Australia we have developed a 45 minute game of softball to be preceded by a fun 30 minute activity in the classrooms of national primary schools. The program will encourage children to lead a healthy lifestyle and will teach them the symptoms of stroke and the action needed to be taken. Each participating child will become a Stroke Ambassador and will ask their families and friends to undertake an online Stroke Quiz, thereby directly educating over half million Australians.
