The John Tonkin College P & C Association has many functions: College P & C Encourage parents to participate in their child's education Develops parent participation in the development of their child's school A forum for parents to discuss issues pertaining to the school and its community. Guest speakers are invited to each meeting to give talks on matters associated with their child's education The P & C is funded by the school cafeteria and does not require any fundraising or volunteering. We meet twice a term, and meetings are kept to a maximum of 1 hour. It is a relaxed environment where anyone over the age of 18 can become a member. Parents, Grandparents, neighbours, guardians.
