Originally named Shine Cambodia, Shine was established in 2016 with a clear mission: to ensure a community undergoing rapid change and financial difficulty could receive support in the hopes that the emerging generation of young people were safe, happy, and be given the opportunity to break the poverty cycle. Our change of name to Shine Connections recognises that while our work continues in Cambodia, we've grown to be something bigger. Shine Connections is about building communities around the world that are interconnected by their shared vision to create brighter futures for the next generation through education and social change.
