Retina Australia is committed to fighting blindness and finding cures for inherited retinal diseases (IRDs). We are a member-based organization that has operated for over 35 years across all states and territories in Australia. We assist the community by providing support, information and funding for research programs - contributing over $5.5 million towards research programs including gene therapy, stem cell therapy, artificial prostheses, and the psychological or sociological aspects of living with an inherited retinal disease. Together, we can find a cure for IRDs and give everyone the right to sight.
