Rescue. Nurture. Rehome. Educate. BARRC is a 100% volunteer run, not for profit animal rescue group based out of Bunbury, Western Australia. Since starting in March 2019, they have rehomed over 150 dogs and worked with other rescue groups statewide to rehome over 50 more. Animals come from pounds where volunteers work with the local Rangers to responsibly rehome animals in need. BARRC also assist in private situations where there has been an unforeseen change in circumstance through no fault of the animals own such as a death in the family. BARRC offers compassion and remain judgement free ensuring that the animals needs are met to achieve the best outcome. By using a foster home model, the dogs helped are given a chance to relax in a home environment and let their personality shine through. Carers are supplied with all of the dogs needs such as food, vetwork and support until we find their perfect home. Being volunteer run and with no state funding available, events like this raise desperately needed funds to save many animals. Funds raised go directly towards medical costs, food and beds, training needs and any costs that the animal may need to get them healthy and into their new homes.
