ARRA rescues, rehabilitates and releases birds of prey. Volunteers transport birds to and from the centre either at rescue, release or to veterinary clinics. They care for the birds while in hospital (stage 1) and deliver treatment according to their injuries or illness. At stage 2, 3, & 4 rehabilitation, the birds are in aviaries where the volunteers continue to care with treatment if needed, feeding. cleaning and flight exercise. Volunteers are also involved with building aviaries, washing, maintenance work, gardening and clerical duties.
