Tweed Landcare Inc (TLI) is an ACNC registered incorporated not-for-profit organisation operating in the Tweed Valley. It is overseen by a volunteer committee with representatives from across our diverse community. The geographical bounds of TLI is the Tweed River catchment boundary (Tweed Valley), an area with many threatened fauna species, and Australia's highest concentration of threatened plants. Our Vision is "Many hands working together for the Tweed environment". Our Mission is "We support people caring for the environment and natural resources of the Tweed. We provide information, training, project coordination, advocacy and representation for our members, locality groups, landholders and community". To achieve our vision and mission we work with our members, Care group volunteers, other groups and individuals, including conservation landholders, primary producers, volunteer groups, schools, Tweed Byron Local Aboriginal Land Council, as well as our state and regional Landcare organisations. The result of our community links and diverse partnerships is an organisation that is uniquely positioned to deliver essential natural resource management programs and projects.
