GoGirls Foundation Inc

GoGirls Foundation runs the 'Work Ready Program' to train women who have been long-term unemployed be ready to re-enter the workforce. The program was developed 15 years ago by Michelle Jobson & Rita Bottomley, both psychologists. The program runs over four months. In August 2021, GoGirls will be launching a campaign to raise $52,000 to fund next year's program by selling the GoGirls Tote bag. GoGirls requires the kind support of female volunteers to help pack the tote bags ready for postage once the campaign begins. Packing will occur on Monday and Thursday mornings for ten weeks from early August 2021. The 'Work Ready Program' has an excellent success rate with an average of 80% plus of women returning to full or part time work, taking up study or volunteering within the community.
