Family Support provides support and respite to families who have had a multiple birth and who feel socially isolated and families affected by post natal depression. Volunteers provide in-home practical support. Volunteers only help with tasks pertaining to the care of the children. Provide respite by giving hands-on assistance with children. Offer companionship to reduce the social isolation and help to build community networks Volunteers may also help with light housework and establishing home and childcare routines with the parent. Building skills and improving self confidence. Give assistance with the children, offer companionship and build community networks.
