The Centre for Multicultural Youth is a not-for-profit organisation based in Victoria, providing specialist knowledge and support to young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds. Our vision is that young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds are connected, empowered and influential Australians. Our purpose is to ensure that young people have every opportunity to succeed in Australia. Through a combination of specialist support services, training and consultancy, knowledge sharing and advocacy, we are working to remove the barriers young people face as they make Australia their home. We Believe diversity is a cornerstone of Australia's success. We believe respect for everyone's human rights is essential for a fair and equal society. We believe everyone should be able to feel like they belong and can participate fully. Some of our programs in operation include; - Youth Support - Youth Leadership - MY Education - Ucan2 - Sport - Sector and Community Partnerships - Employment - Policy and Research - Youth Referral and Independent Persons Program (YRIPP) - MY Family - Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network (MYAN) It is through the support and contributions of our volunteers that these programs are achievable and able to be utilized by the community.
