The Geelong Youth Choir has been a vibrant hub for the youth of Geelong for 33 years, providing a safe space for young people to connect and express themselves through the Arts. GYC programs are strongly based in quality music education philosophies that aim to develop the whole musician, building skills, confidence and connection. Community is at the heart of our organisation; both internally and through our involvement in the wider Geelong region. GYC offers a supportive network for young people and their families and provides stability and a sense of belonging in the journey through childhood and into adulthood. Within the wider community, GYC is an enthusiastic supporter of a range of local events. Our goal is for our young musicians to both experience and contribute to the artistic and cultural tapestry of Geelong. Our Committee of Management together with our team of musicians and teachers aim to break down the barriers young people face in accessing high-quality arts education. The Geelong Youth Choir offers singing and music programs for preschoolers, primary-aged children, secondary students, young adults and adults.
