The Australian Breasfeeding Association is a national volunteer organsiation established in 1964 to encourage and support mothers who wish to breastfeed their babies and to promote skilled and loving mothering, while creating in the community an awareness of the importance of human milk. We do this through a network of support groups offering face to face contact with mums of new babies and young children. We also have a national volunteer run telephone hotline.
