About The Centre for Volunteering
The Centre for Volunteering is the peak body for volunteering in NSW. Volunteering NSW is part of The Centre and its services include:
Our Volunteer Referral Service acts as a conduit between prospective volunteers and our member organisations in need of volunteers. Volunteers using this service volunteers benefit from advice and guidance to help them find a role which is best suited to their skills and interests. Volunteers finding a role through this service can be confident that the organisations they will be referred to have the requisite insurance for their protection.
Programs and services offer access to: Bridge to Volunteering sessions, Consultancy Services, Employee Volunteering, state-wide services link The Centre to over 25 regional Volunteer Resource Centres, and Seek Volunteer.
The School of Volunteer Management offers accredited and non-accredited course for coordinators and managers of volunteers. .

The NSW Volunteer of the Year Award run by The Centre for Volunteering recognises and publicly acknowledges the invaluable work done by NSW volunteers. It showcases active volunteers who have shown dedication and initiative in their work and have positively contributed to the not-for-profit organisation they volunteer for.
The Centre for Volunteering connects people and organisations in order to enrich our community. The Centre achieves this through referral, training, resource development, information and education services to help people get involved in their communities, and enhance the capacity and skills of volunteer involving organisations, corporations and government to become involved in the community.
