Hepburn Shire Visitor Information Centres

Logo for Hepburn Shire Visitor Information Centres

There are four Visitor Information Centres in the Hepburn Shire located in Daylesford, Creswick, Clunes and Trentham. The Daylesford Regional Visitor Information Centre is an accredited Visitor Information Centre and operates to the standards required by this accreditation, open 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm and closed on Christmas Day. Visitor Information Centre volunteers give visitors and locals information on events, accommodation, things to see and do, eating out, regional information, day trips and much, much more. The Hepburn Shire forms part of the Dayelsford and Macedon Ranges Tourism Region with a diverse range of natural and built attractions for visitors to enjoy. The Visitor Information Centres have a strong voluntary team drawn from the local community. As a volunteer you will have the support of the Visitor Services Team during your training, induction and daily operations. Volunteers are important in making the Hepburn Shire a great place for both the local community and visitors. We are looking for people who are wanting to share their passion for the area and would like to be a part of this service. Volunteers assist with the operation of the Visitor Centres including providing visitors with information, opening and closing procedures and conducting retail sales. The key focus is providing excellent customer service to people coming into the region.
