The Rotary Club of Cockburn (Inc) was sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Melville and Fremantle. It was chartered on 18 June 1969 with Les Skelton as President and 27 other foundation members. In over 30 years of continuous service to the community of Cockburn more than 100 members, both past and present, have devoted their time and expertise to the benefit of local and international communities. The Rotary club of Cockburn (Inc) is part of Rotary International which has almost 1.25 million members in 31,256 clubs spread through 163 countries of the world. In Rotary in Australia there are over 1200 Clubs with 40000 members so no matter where you travel, you're not far from Rotary's presence.
