Lower Burdekin Landcare run a propagation nursery in 57 International Road, Ayr Queensland. Volunteers collect seeds from various native species in the district to be propagate. Nursery Open every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday morning from 8.30am - 12.00am. We are always looking for volunteers to assist and we are registered with Centrelink for mutual obligation hours. We also complete tree plantings and other on-ground project work. The Nursery provides a meeting and learning place where new techniques and ideas are tested and volunteers and members of the public are welcome every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday Mornings. Lower Burdekin Landcare serves to achieve sustainable land use in our Local Community.
