Scouts WA promotes scouting activities and youth development. The aim of Scouting is to encourage the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development of young people so that they take a constructive place in society as a member of their local, national and international community. The 1st Midland Scouting Group has a long established history within the community starting in 1915. The group moved to its present location at the Bellevue Mechanics hall in 1979.
