The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of The Balwyn Evergreen Centre.

As part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), Balwyn Evergreen Centre has received Australian Government funding to match volunteer visitors with seniors in both residential aged care (RACF) and at home (on Home Care Packages) who are experiencing loneliness and social isolation across Eastern Melbourne.

Seniors are particularly vulnerable to becoming socially isolated, especially if they don't have any family around.
