This is a unique opportunity to use your past experience to build upon current human resource practices as well as recommend and implement new frameworks to support the recruitment, management and training of new and existing volunteers.
This is your chance to put your stamp on the role and truly be a change maker becoming a team member, only those who are able to commit to long term volunteering are asked to express interest.
This in-depth role has duties which include but are not limited to-
-Recruit and induct volunteers
-Develop policies and procedures
-Train and support volunteers
-Develop processes in line with the National Standards
-Conduct reference checks
-Attend training and workshops (mostly Ipswich based)
-Develop/maintain volunteer database
-Update/review volunteer application form and other on-boarding documents.
The role is based at Redbank Plains (Ipswich City Council region). However, some aspects of the role can be offered as a virtual (volunteer from home) position at the volunteer's own expense and as mutually agreed.
