Have you answered YES to all of these?

Parramatta City Council is currently looking for more people to join their acclaimed Social Inclusion Volunteer team.

Volunteers are matched to older people and people with a disability in the local community. Volunteers make weekly visits to the person’s home or accompany them to an activity of a common interest. The aim of the program is to partner with people to build stronger community connections, have opportunities to maintain interests and independent skills, and continually explore ways to better their lives.

We are looking for a volunteer who would enjoy visiting a lady and taking her for lunch on the first Tuesday of each month . You will need to have a full drivers licence and own comprehensively insured car. (Travel reimbursements paid).

Our team of 110 Volunteers are vital to our work. Volunteers are supported with training, travel reimbursements, and ongoing supervision & support. There are opportunities to mix with other volunteers throughout the year and be a part of a valued team.
