Our HammondCare pastoral care volunteers have an opportunity to support the spiritual needs of the elderly residents at HammondCare Hammondville. You'll love this opportunity to give back to people living in your local community. As a pastoral care volunteer you’ll be a Christian actively involved with a local Christian church.
You’ll supplement and complement the work of our HammondCare Pastoral Care Coordinator, and under their direction you may: • Support residents to meet their spiritual needs • Support residents and families in time of crisis • Nurture spiritual development • Assist worship services, use Bible reading resources with residents, and assist in other faith supporting activities.
You’ll find that as a pastoral care volunteer you’ll nurture your own spiritual life.
